Today we use many different types of devices to surf the web, with mobiles making up the majority of traffic on the web. 8. Good Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO is important for your website to appear high in search results on Google and other search engines. First, do a keyword analysis - which searches on Google bring relevant traffic to you? Try to identify keywords that are both relevant to your business, but also where the competition is not sky-high. It takes time to get up to the front page on Google and the websites that rank highest on the most obvious keywords for your industry have been working on it for a very long time.
Once you've done your keyword analysis and identified a strategy - make sure to use the keywords neatly on your website and write good meta descriptions. Links from other established websites are worth gold and give Google the impression that your website is to be trusted. What is important for Google is to provide good responses to their customers' searches - therefore, make sure that you have high-quality content on your website. Google will notice if your visitors only visit your website for a short period of time without getting an answer to their query, which will have a negative impact on your SEO.
SEO is a complex topic where search engine algorithms use hundreds of parameters to determine what search results come up on a search. You can read more about best practices in search engine optimization here.
9. Update regularly
A website that is not updated regularly can look uninteresting, both in the eyes of the visitor and Google. Make sure you update your website regularly with new content and that you remove old content that is no longer relevant.
If you delete old content - also be sure to remove all internal links to this content. Broken links are bad for both user experience and SEO.
